These Terms of Service govern your use of VSME Reporter, including subscriptions, billing, refunds, support levels, and acceptable usage. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read this document carefully.
Acceptance of Terms
By using VSME Reporter, you accept these terms of service. If you do not accept the terms, please discontinue use of the service immediately.
Climate Contribution & Donation Disclosure
By using our service, you directly contribute to environmental restoration projects.
- 10% of every subscription fee (before VAT) is donated to environmental projects
- Donations are made quarterly on the 15th of the first month after quarter-end
- You receive quarterly reports showing exactly how your contribution was used
- Donations are not tax-deductible for subscribers
Services
VSME Reporter provides a platform for sustainability reporting according to the VSME framework. We reserve the right to update, modify, or temporarily discontinue the service with or without notice.
User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for keeping your account and password secure
- You warrant that all information you provide is accurate and current
- You must not use the service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- You are responsible for all content uploaded through your account
Limitation of Liability
VSME Reporter is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability arising from willful misconduct, gross negligence, or obligations that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through a notice on the platform.
Cancellation Policy
How to Cancel
You can cancel your Professional subscription at any time through your account settings.
- Log in to your VSME Reporter account
- Navigate to Settings → Subscription
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm cancellation
Effective Date
Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to Premium features until then.
Refund Policy
We offer refunds or service credits under the following circumstances:
1. Platform Downtime Exceeding SLA
If monthly uptime falls below 99.5%, you are entitled to service credits.
Credit Calculation:
- 99.0% - 99.5% uptime: 10% credit
- 95.0% - 99.0% uptime: 25% credit
- Below 95.0% uptime: 50% credit
2. Billing Errors
If you are charged incorrectly, we will issue a full refund within 5 business days of notification.
3. Service Not as Described
If the platform materially fails to perform as described in our marketing materials within the first 30 days, you may request a full refund.
Refund Processing
- Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
- Payment Method: Refunds issued to the original payment method
- Bank Processing: Allow an additional 3-5 business days for bank processing
- Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed
Plan Downgrades
Professional → Free Downgrade
You can downgrade from Professional to Free at any time.
- Downgrade takes effect at end of billing period
- No refunds for remaining days in current period
- Data remains accessible (within Free plan limits)
- Premium features (API access, advanced analytics) are disabled
Data Access After Cancellation
- 30-Day Export Window: After subscription ends, you have 30 days to export your data
- Data Retention: After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted
- Account Reactivation: You can reactivate within 30 days to restore access
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be resolved by the courts of Stockholm, Sweden. For consumers within the EU, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
